Abington Bank donates $2,500 to Self Help, Inc.

Abington, Massachusetts — January 29, 2021

Abington Bank’s charitable giving program recently donated $2,500 to Self Help, Inc., a nonprofit Community Action Agency offering a range of services for families and households across southeastern Massachusetts.

Self Help, Inc. was created to help low-income families and individuals stabilize and secure their lives through education, strategic assistance, and building on opportunities in their communities. The organization’s mission is to help reduce poverty, increase self-sufficiency, and improve the community by providing resources for people to create healthier, better lives and achieve their full potential. Self Help serves more than 15,000 households a year.

“We recognize the meaningful difference Self Help makes in the lives of people, and that their mission aligns with ours in terms of helping people unlock their full potential,” said Abington Bank President and CEO Andrew J. Raczka. “We’re pleased to provide support to help them continue providing resources to those who need them and to further the good work they do in our communities.”
