Abington Bank donates $2,500 to Massasoit Community College Fund

Abington, Massachusetts — February 12, 2021

In connection with Massasoit Community College’s virtual Celebration of Excellence event, Abington Bank’s charitable giving program recently donated $2,500 to the college’s Educational Enrichment Fund.

Massasoit Community College provides an affordable education that positions and supports students from all socio-economic backgrounds to achieve their academic and professional goals. The Celebration of Excellence showcases students’ work from within a number of academic programs and raises funds for the Educational Enrichment Fund, which provides financial support for extra-curricular and co-curricular enrichment programs such as research, internships, study trips, and leadership development seminars. The fund ensures that Massasoit students have a rich and full academic experience with experiential learning opportunities.

“Education is the critical first step to bettering yourself on the road to independence and empowerment,” said Andrew J. Raczka, Abington Bank’s president and CEO. “Abington Bank is pleased to provide this support to help future students of Massasoit enrich their educational experience and unlock their full potential.”
