Abington Bank Announces Four Promotions
Abington Bank has announced four recent promotions: Jennifer Barrows to loan servicing officer; Joyce Davis to assistant vice president, branch officer, Holbrook office; Nichole Matrisciano to assistant vice president, branch officer, Abington office; and Donna Ouellette to assistant vice president, branch officer, Rte. 3A, Cohasset office.
Barrows, of Braintree, has over 15 years of banking experience and joined Abington Bank in 2021 as loan servicing team lead. Prior to Abington Bank, she was employed by Quincy Credit Union for 14 years as real estate lending supervisor.
Davis, of Norton, has nearly 30 years of banking experience. Davis began her banking career in the Philippines and worked for Philippine National Bank, International Exchange Bank, and East West Banking Corporation for 14 years prior to joining the former Holbrook Cooperative Bank in 2011 as a part-time teller. Davis was promoted multiple times at Holbrook Cooperative prior to its merger with Abington Bank, and most recently served as branch officer of Abington’s Holbrook office. Davis holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Matrisciano, of Brockton, has more than two decades of banking experience, having held positions at the former Holbrook Cooperative Bank and Avon Cooperative Bank before the banks’ mergers with Abington Bank. She has been promoted numerous times over the years, holding positions in retail banking, commercial loan operations, and compliance. Most recently, she was branch officer of Abington Bank’s Harrison Ave., Abington office. She holds a certificate in banking from the New England School of Financial Studies and a Branch Manager certification from the Massachusetts Bankers Association.
Ouellette, of Plymouth, has over 40 years of banking experience and joined Abington Bank in 2017 as the branch manager of Abington’s Rte. 3A, Cohasset office. Prior to joining Abington Bank, Ouellette was vice president, branch manager and community development officer at Northeast Community Bank and before that held various positions at BayBank, Fleet Financial Group, BankBoston, and Bank of America. Ouellette holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Curry College and a certificate in community banking management from BayBank. She currently serves as treasurer for the Rotary Club of Plymouth.
